Quarter also includes if you desire them.    1/4 heart,  and four   1 lb packages of liver,  soup bones  and some dog bones.  and at additional cost  tongue or oxtail possible . We Raise our steers a few months longer to get the bigger meatier  steaks and richer tasting but tender meat  than that the commercial growers.   Most guys butcher thiuer steers at 12 to 13 monthes old , We Butcher at 24 to 38 months  to give you more meat mass vs bone..  with a richer taste and quite tender.   Our steers liesurly graze in small pastures in small numbers . then gat all the hay and grass they want plus a ration of  mixed Grains.    Thank you…our last steer for the year should be going in in mid  June..  Most store meat is culled dairy cows that dont meet miling standards   or dair breeds,  Our Beef  usually grades out to a very good prime.

It’s Not that old  dairy cow  being sold at big discount ( and tastes like it) quite often in stores and Dairy operations  and rushed to market . that have Cow/ beef Fed  implants growth hormones and who knows what .  Ours  are raised with all they want   to eat Liesurly on Pasture greens ,  Hay, Corn and other grains . a good balanced diet, even Pumpkins to boot their health, then raised until Perfect for butchering , grown for  larger steaks & roasts ., and better Flavor. We Raise 8-10 steers a year to butcher.  5 left for summer  2023 then Not till Next April.

If you buy beef From a store remember where it came from and 15% water preservative is added in store bought Meats. …  Best is at the local butcher Market That processes them  right from the Farmer…  Then the Meat Market that buys  already  cut into halves of beef from local Butcher houses or the big Commercial meat houses .  Next  if in the Grocery store… They most likely do not come from your local Farmers…  If they say USDA Inspected they are from the states   If USDI they are  usd imported .  Usually From Frozen storage.   So Beef is not beef   anymore than meat is Meat. Know your farmer, know where your meat comes from ..if you care..    Many people think meat and eggs come from a store… and that’s what they know…. Food is grown and raised by Farmers  and raised in many ways..
